mp3: Judy Woodruff Interviews Ron Paul

Posted by Eric F. Langborgh on 12 Oct 2007 at 08:29 pm

Here’s a great audio file of Judy Woodruff’s interview today of Rep. Ron Paul, Republican candidate for President, on PBS’s NewsHour with Jim Lehrer

Topics covered in this excellent wide-ranging include: Dr. Paul’s amazing Internet following; the enthusiastic support he is receiving from young voters; his non-interventionist foreign policy and the war on terror; the long-term inviability of empire — even American empire; constitutional government and the importance of returning to it, while not abandoning seniors who are dependent on it during the transition; the government departments he’d cut — and the necessity of building a consensus to enact his agenda; his career as an obstetrician delivering over 4,000 babies and his federalist pro-life position; the need to return to personal responsibility for health care, retirement, and self-defense; etc.

Here’s the PBS article summarizing the interview, and PBS’s candidate page on Ron Paul.

UPDATE:  And now here’s the interview on YouTube:
