ACRU Blog: Texas Senate’s Approval of Religious Expression Reveals False Dichotomy

Posted by Eric F. Langborgh on 25 May 2007 at 12:04 pm

Over at The ACRU Blog, I posted this morning what I think to be an important article — or at least the concept I am attempting to get across is important.

In my post, “Texas Senate’s Approval of Religious Expression Reveals False Dichotomy,” I explain how Americans have been increasingly seperating religious speech and “non-religious” speech into separate categories, both in their minds and, most dangerously, though the judicial process.  But as I explain, and as the Founders understood, speech is speech, regardless of the worldview underlying or advocated by the content.

(Note:  I have also pulled together a slightly longer and more detailed version of this post for publication as an op-ed.  Please pray for my success!)
